Watch the Therapy

Watch the Therapy

It can be very a very moving and empowering experience to witness your child or loved-one working hard, having fun, making progress and gaining self-confidence. This is why families are encouraged to watch all dolphin assisted therapy sessions from a discrete distance. They will also have the opportunity to witness two sessions up close.

Why from a distance? Because patients often behave differently when they sense the presence of their families or caregivers. By minimizing the distractions, we allow them to fully focus on their dolphin and the therapy. Parents will get to see the therapy up close at the end of both therapy weeks, when a certain level of confidence has been gained and the patient is somewhat inclined to proudly ‘show off’ the progress that he or she has made.
