Connect with Families

Connect with Families

Sometimes just talking to someone who shares the same experiences as you, can be tremendously helpful. Indeed, other families and caregivers of special needs individuals are perhaps the ones who understand things best. Time and time again, at CDTC we see how reassuring this can be, and how it can even lead to friendships.

To give families the opportunity to meet each other and have some fun together, we host a special family happy hour on the first Tuesday night of each therapy period. While enjoying drinks and snacks, the families will be introduced to the entire CDTC team and have the opportunity to get to know each other.

For brothers and sisters of the patients, it can often be daunting to connect with their peers. The special siblingsprogram provides them with the perfect opportunity, and they can join together in all the fun activities and make friendships.
